Balmacara was completed in 1994 and stands by a private road high above the village of Dervaig with panoramic views across Glen Bellart to Loch Cuin and the hills beyond. |
|
The house takes up to six guests in three double rooms - two of which have zip link beds which can be made up as either double or twin. The other room has a four-poster. Two rooms have en-suite facilities whilst the third has its own private bathroom up a short flight of stairs. All the rooms have armchairs, hair-dryers, tea & coffee making facilities and remote control colour television. |

The lounge and conservatory
take full advantage of the view with breakfast being served in the conservatory. |
|
There is a payphone in the front hall and ample private parking. There is a wide range of books including books about the island- its' history, geology and wildlife, also maps and tourist information. We ourselves are more than happy to help our guests with advice, or to make arrangements to enjoy the many facilities and activities available to visitors to the island and its surrounding seas. |
